Aesthetics & Orientation

Colours can decorate, motivate, guide. In the hameln pharma sterile production plant the colours red, orange and yellow fulfil each of these purposes. They give an aesthetic appearance, create well-being and help to avoid errors.

Guiding colours

In the new hameln pharma sterile production plant the colours red, orange and yellow identify both the different cleanroom classes and the pass-throughs between these cleanroom classes, so that the door leaves of the pass-through air locks used by employees are the colour of the cleanroom class hidden directly behind the door.

In general the following applies: the lighter the colour, the cleaner the area. Employees recognise at first glance in which area they are operating and what precautions they have to take before entering the next area. Product contaminations promoted by the inappropriate behaviour of staff can thus be prevented from the outset.

Appealing Design

Quite apart from this functional aspect, the targeted use of colours within the sterile production plant also contributes to the aesthetics of the whole building and not least has a positive effect on the employees who work in the plant. For the internal design of the sterile production plant, colours have been knowingly chosen, which are based on colour psychology, and arouse positive sensations in the observer, such as motivation and well-being.
